S.M. City Motorsports started in Jan.2001. Rusty worked for Pop (Ronnie) at the family owned automotive repair shop, R&R Automotive. Rusty is one of top technicians in the area and we have a very high-tech shop. R&R has a great reputation as a friendly, honest shop; it really has that down home, family store attitude. Rusty always raced, played-with, and rode motorcycles; and we grew up racing and building dirt stock cars – weekends were spent at the track and in the garage. Rusty talked to Pop about working on bikes and ATVs to fill a need in the area. So we leased a small place in the same shopping center as the auto repair shop and opened the doors. The name S.M. City Motorsports came from the name of a motocross race team Rusty had. It stands for Saint Mary’s City. S.M. City started off selling parts and accessories and doing repairs/service mostly on dirt bikes and ATVs. That evolved into a lot of work on metric sport bikes and cruisers, but our dream was to do custom Harleys - it was just hard to break into the clique. Finally, our reputation started getting around and more of the Harley clientele began rolling in to see what we’re all about. You see, we run our shop differently than the “typical” Harley shop. We get bikes in and out quick and always pay attention to the details. We’ve found that our knowledge of the auto industry helps us because things on bikes seem easier to us compared to some of the other “top” Harley techs in our area; and customers definitely notice.

B. Boys Customs are the cool ass bikes that we create from scratch. But that’s not all. Sometimes we take a customer’s bike and transform it so dramatically that it’s a totally new ride. B. Boys Customs is part of S.M. City Motorsports. We have a motto, “It’s all about being COOL,” and we live by it.
